The prolongation of the transit process will cause Turkish trucks to overtake the Iranian fleet and Turkey will replace Iran, and this will threaten one of the sources of Iran’s foreign exchange earnings.
The Secretary General of the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Iran and Kuwait pointed to the expansion of trade and economic ties between Iran and Kuwait and said, the establishment of a joint trade commission, along with the expansion of trade cooperation, providing customs and port facilities to Iranian shippers and launching trade exchanges through land, are the most important levers for the development of economic and commercial exchanges between the two countries.

He added, the development of trade through this transit route will increase the competitiveness of national products with the goods of other countries in the market of Kuwait due to lower costs and fast delivery time, this will lead to the development of trade and acquisition of a larger share of the market of this important neighbor of our country.
Barari considered the establishment of the Iran-Kuwait refrigerated container shipping line as essential and said, it is decided to establish a refrigerated container line between the countries of Iran and Kuwait. This shipping line is supposed to move refrigerated containers from the country’s ports to Kuwait, which has the ability to move refrigerated containers with the appropriate capacity for the country’s conditions and operates in the field of exporting refrigerated goods such as agricultural and livestock products.
