According to Total News, citing the Gasht-o-Gozar News Site, Mohammad Adadian Neishabouri, the CEO of SKAN BROUDAT PARS Company, referring to the obstacles and challenges for the survival of the private sector in this field, stated, “The private sector needs comprehensive support from government institutions to survive. In order to have an active and dynamic private sector, directly and indirectly, the support of the public sector is needed. In the field of transportation, we are in close contact with government bodies such as the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the Passport and Visa Department, the Center for Tourism and Motoring of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Chamber of Commerce. Fortunately, in recent years, government managers in the customs department and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development have had a more positive view of removing the existing obstacles and challenges and are trying to eliminate them. Sometimes some of the existing rules are cumbersome and slow down the work. In this regard, there is a need for the private sector to move in the same direction as the public sector so that it can speed up the work.
Referring to the effect of currency fluctuations on the field of international transportation, he said, Currency fluctuations in the field of international transportation have a considerable effect on the quality of exports, imports and retention of international customers. Due to the repeated pursuits for the allocation of government currency to activists in this field, unfortunately, we have not yet reached the desired result. Lack of stability causes lack of customer retention. Currency fluctuations are a challenging issue that I hope the relevant authorities will look at positively and think of a solution to this problem.
Referring to the specialized activity of the company in the field of transportation of perishable materials and the countries involved, he said, Transportation companies choose the type of transportation based on the destination country. For example, in European countries, cargo is mostly transported by road, while India and China are transported by sea. In relation to the discussion of transit, it is one of the most employment-generating and income-generating sectors in the field of transportation, which needs the government’s support. Considering Iran’s location at the transit crossroads of the world, as well as the existence of experienced and efficient people in this industry, it can be more active in the field of transit. But despite the issue of sanctions and the exhaustion of the transportation fleet, transit needs special attention. Recently, after the beginning of the 13th government, special attention has been paid to this category, I hope that this sector will prosper so that its clear results are evident for all the activists of this industry.
Referring to the problems related to the field of transportation, the CEO of SKAN BROUDAT PARS noted, considering my many years of presence in the trade association of international transportation companies, there are obstacles that are one of the biggest problems in obtaining visas for Iran’s transit drivers. The only embassy that gives transit visas to drivers is Italy, and this embassy accepts about 80 drivers per month, and the rest of the embassies refuse to give visas. The General Director of Transit and International Transport of the Road and Road Transport Organization of the country is very persistent in solving this problem, for which we express our special thanks. Another problem that colleagues are dealing with is the increase in the tax rate. The main question here is that due to the existence of sanctions, all the government men are in the process of our business slowdown, on what basis was the increase in the tax rate done? I hope that by revising the tax law, some of the problems of transportation activists will be solved.
Referring to the association’s close interaction with related government institutions, he said, We are trying to interact with related bodies, such as the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Finance, Customs and other related bodies, and we will do everything that is in line with the regulations. On the other hand, we request the dear government men to change their regulations and policies in the direction of smoother, more powerful and positive transportation, so that we can have safe and dynamic transportation hand in hand. In the transportation industry, we try to implement the laws in coordination with the related bodies and based on the specified policy and as ambassadors of Iran inside and outside the country.
