The international freight transport company Delamode Baltics is part of the Delamode Group and says it employs over 600 people. It has now concluded a cooperation agreement with Cargoline.
From the beginning of July 2024, the general cargo cooperation will be represented exclusively by the Lithuanian company in the Baltics, it is said. In return, the network would be used for the distribution and procurement logistics of shipments to and from Europe.
To this end, the new partner will travel to the network’s hub in Niederaula daily from the stations Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. This expands existing direct transport with several cargo liners.
Strengthening the pan-European network
According to Bernd Höppner, International Managing Director of Cargoline, this could increase the frequency of transports to and from the Baltics.
“With this improved offering, we offer shippers the opportunity to accelerate their processes and strengthen their competitiveness,” said Höppner.
According to Justas Veršnickas, CEO of Delamode Group, headquartered in Braintree, Essex, Cargoline’s partner network stretches from Finland to Morocco and from Portugal to the Caspian Sea, opening up extensive pan-European perspectives.
