According to Total News, quoted by Isna, Amir Jamshidi said, in April of this year, 582 thousand 646 tons of goods worth 179 million 329 thousand dollars were exchanged between Mazandaran Customs and its business partners.
Mazandaran customs supervisor added, in April this year, 147,417 tons of goods worth 23,705,000 dollars were exported to different parts of the world through Mazandaran customs (Nowshehr, Amirabad, Sari, Fereydunkenar and Amol), which compared to the same period in 2023 in terms of weight, 70 percent and in terms of value it shows 9% growth.
He said about the most important export destinations of Mazandaran customs, Iraq with the import of 7 thousand tons of goods worth 8 million 536 thousand dollars, the first export destination of Mazandaran goods, Russia with 108 thousand tons worth 6 million 416 thousand dollars, Turkmenistan with 7 thousand tons worth 1 million, Kazakhstan with 14 thousand tons worth 1 million and Uzbekistan with 1 thousand tons worth 989 thousand dollars were the five countries that imported more than 138 thousand tons of goods worth 18 million dollars from Mazandaran customs.
Jamshidi clarified, exports to the above countries accounted for 94% of the weight and 77% of the total value of Mazandaran customs exports.
