According to Total News, quoting from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s website, the “Iran Project” exhibition was held on the morning of Friday, November 17, with the presence of Mehrdad Bazrpash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of our country, and Rashid Mardov, the Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as the heads of the joint commissions of economic cooperation between the two countries.
More than 300 Iranian companies and economic activists are present in this exhibition, and they displayed their latest achievements in the field of technical, engineering and knowledge-based services.
The purpose of holding this event is to deepen and develop all-round relations and relationships in the fields of trade, commerce, transportation and transit, energy, industry, technical and engineering services, customs, provincial, agricultural, scientific, health and tourism.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of our country and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as the heads of the joint commissions for economic cooperation of the two countries visited this exhibition and the booth of Iranian companies.
By sending a message to the participants of the “Iran Project” specialized exhibition, Sardar Bardimohamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, emphasized the development of bilateral trade volume, the creation of new forms of interaction and the implementation of joint projects in promising fields.
The 17th meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission will be held under the chairmanship of Mehrdad Bazrpash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of our country, and Rashid Mardov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the presence of representatives of the country’s executive bodies.
According to the agreement of the officials of the two countries, it was decided that on the sidelines of the 17th meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan, the joint business conference of businessmen and private sectors of the two countries, as well as the 15th exclusive-specialist exhibition entitled “Iran Project” at the same time as the 17th meeting will be held.
In addition to the signing of the summit document, it is planned that in this meeting, the cooperation documents of other areas will also be signed by the officials of the two countries.
The 17th meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan will be held in Ashgabat from 16th to 18th of November 2023, hosted by the country of Turkmenistan.
