According to Total News, citing the Iran Online Chamber, Hossein Selahvarzi, the Head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, in this meeting, referring to Hassan Hamzamani, the start of the new period in the chambers of commerce of Iran and Turkey, on the close cooperation of the two chambers to expand bilateral trade within a four-year roadmap.
Pointing out that the Iran Chamber is planning to form a trade working group with Turkey covering various economic sectors, he added, Iran’s private sector is ready to develop cooperation with regional countries, especially Turkey.
Selahvarazi invited the Head of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Commodity Exchange to visit Tehran in the near future and said, we hope that you will soon travel to Tehran and other Iranian cities at the Head of an economic and commercial delegation, and the business and investment conference of Iran and Turkey will be held with the presence of economic activists of the two countries.
Rafat Hesarchi oglu, the Head of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchange, while welcoming the Iran Chamber’s plans for the development of bilateral cooperation, suggested that the cooperation roadmap program between the two countries should be signed in the form of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Heads of the chambers of the two countries, an issue that was met with a warm welcome.
Also, it was agreed that the joint cooperation of Iran and Turkey Chambers of Commerce to increase the level of bilateral trade, exchange of commercial information, cooperation in removing trade barriers, increasing the visits of specialized trade delegations and holding bilateral trade conferences will be put on the agenda of both sides in this meeting.
