According to Total News, Reza Qoli Rezaei pointed out that the transportation companies of Ardabil need more support and said, international transportation companies of this province are facing many challenges. For example, despite the many follow-ups of the Ardabil Chamber of Commerce, this province does not have a permit to issue a TIR Carnet, and to obtain this permit, companies must go to other provinces such as East Azarbaijan or Tehran, which unfortunately takes time and costs.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of International Transport Companies of Ardabil province, pointing out that the transport companies are not involved in the issuance of international certificates, said, the tourist center for the issuance of ownership booklets and international driver’s certificates, confirmation of the contents of the temporary exit permit , which has been issued by the customs, will be received from the transport company, and in case of discrepancy, the company is responsible for all damages. This is if the transport company does not have any interference in issuing the certificate. Despite many follow-ups by this association through the tourism center, unfortunately, these companies still have this problem. We hope that this problem will be solved with the help of the relevant officials.
Pointing out that the establishment of comprehensive transportation systems will speed things up, Rezaei said, among the advantages of using the comprehensive system of routing tracking code, it is possible to mention the greater transparency of the economic relations between the driver and the transport companies, the reduction of fuel consumption, the prevention of unnecessary traffic to obtain the bill of lading, and the facilitation of the issuance of the bill of lading. In addition to these advantages, this system has poor support, unfortunately, no one is responsible when there is an outage or a problem occurs. The lack of timely support causes drivers and transport companies to remain indecisive for hours and days.
He said that restricting the agencies that influence the clearance of goods is an effective factor in increasing the speed of administrative procedures and added, Currently, about 20 agencies are involved in customs procedures and clearance of goods. In my opinion, if the number of competent bodies is reduced, the clearance process will be done faster and the product will reach the consumer sooner.
The CEO of Barpa International Transport Company added, If the clearance process is not reduced, traders will prefer to use alternative routes for their exported and imported goods, and this issue will be detrimental to Iran’s transport industry.
While pointing to the holding of numerous meetings with transport associations across the country, Rezaei said, due to the revival of the central secretariat of international transport trade unions, meetings were held continuously, with the majority of associations present in order to solve problems and present solutions.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of International Transport Companies of Ardabil, while referring to the hosting of Ardabil for the fifth meeting of the joint secretariat of international transport associations across the country, said, Ardabil will host managers of related organizations and members of trade unions of transport companies in December of this year. In this meeting, the minutes of the fourth meeting, TIR Carnet, Green Leaf, etc. will be followed up.
