According to Total News, quoting from the government’s information platform, the first vice president, in his meeting with “Igor Levitin”, the special assistant of the Russian president, considered the continuation of meetings and increased coordination between Tehran and Moscow as a step towards advancing the joint programs of the two countries and said, the meetings between the officials of the two countries can lead to the implementation of the agreements as soon as possible.
Referring to the preparations for the implementation of the North-South Corridor project, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber expressed his hope that with the serious participation of the parties, we will witness the acceleration of the implementation of this important and effective project.
The first vice president also mentioned the vast capacities and exceptional opportunities of the Makran coast and added, Iran welcomes the presence and participation of Russian companies to create and complete infrastructure in the field of transportation and transit.
Dr. Mokhber emphasized the need for the implementation of contracts and agreements between the two countries, especially in the field of energy, and noted, the implementation of the agreements and the participation of the two countries in the development of oil and gas fields is an important and necessary matter that must be followed seriously.
He considered the removal of banking issues and obstacles as a step towards the development of economic and commercial cooperation and added, good agreements have been signed between the two countries in this field, and the full implementation of this agreement should be accelerated.
The first vice president continued, Iran and Russia can eliminate a large part of the existing banking issues by using the national currency of the two countries in commercial transactions, and this action can lead to the expansion of the commercial transactions.
He pointed out that the two countries can play a role in the supply of food products at the regional level by cooperating with each other and by implementing joint plans and projects in various fields such as car production, they can improve the level of commercial and economic cooperation between them.
In this meeting, Igor Levitin, the special assistant of the President of Russia, described the extensive interactions between the two countries as opening the way and effective in realizing common goals and said, “during this trip, I will visit the Rasht-Astara railway project and the Caspian port to get a detailed picture of the project implementation process.
Referring to his meeting with the head of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added, I am personally following the process of cooperation between the central banks of the two countries and I hope that the agreement signed between the two countries will be implemented as soon as possible.
Levitin emphasized Russia’s readiness to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran to supply food products and basic goods to the countries of the region and announced the readiness of Russian companies to jointly produce cars, helicopters and agricultural equipment.
In this meeting, which was attended by the Ministers of Oil, Roads and Urban Development of Iran, the head of Russia’s largest transport and logistics company and the representative of Gazprom, the latest status of joint projects and areas of joint cooperation were discussed.
