Regarding the export of goods to 25 countries in the first seven months of the year, he added, 361 thousand tons worth 179 million dollars of the total export goods of Golestan were exported to 25 countries in the mentioned period.
The Head of the transport commission of the Gorgan Chamber of Commerce mentioned that the most goods imported from the border of Turkmenistan to Golestan are oil, petroleum coke, cotton, cloth and clothing, chemical products, machinery, rapeseed, and palmer reactor.
The vice chairman of Golestan province’s international goods transport companies trade association added, all detergents and sanitary materials, structural and building strengthening products, all kinds of adhesives, all kinds of ice cream and desserts and household appliances, respectively, are among the main export goods of Golestan worth one ton and about 544 million dollars.
Regarding the existing obstacles of transport companies and the necessity of double efforts to solve problems in the field of export and import of goods, Qarebash said, the mismatch of entry and exit fees, replacement of tug at the border, non-availability of export infrastructure are among the challenges in this field.
He stated, also, according to the current conditions, it is necessary to update export incentives to create the necessary mobility in the field of trade. The relations between the customs officials of the two countries and the presence of domestic and foreign private sector investors is a strategy in the path of development that will make economic diplomacy more active in the region.
The Head of the Gorgan Chamber of Commerce’s Transport Commission emphasized, Incheh Borun is the only land and rail customs in Golestan, which is considered an important capacity for the merchants of the province, but due to the lack of facilities, it has not yet been able to have much profitable capacity for the province.
