The Deputy of Maritime Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization said, the most important general strategies for the development of the maritime-oriented economy are: providing related education to maritime activities at various educational levels to students, creating a centralized management in the government for centralized policy making for various maritime sectors, increasing interaction with the countries of the region to use their capacities in different sectors related to the sea, creating and developing the activities of scientific-specialist associations related to the sea domain, strengthening the continuous connection of marine industries with universities in order to transfer research and training needs of the industry to universities. Also, solutions for the development of maritime trade and the development of maritime industries have been presented in the form of relevant subsections.
He added, during the sea-oriented development conference and commemoration of the National Maritime and Port Day, 31 contracts and memorandums worth 45 thousand billion Tomans were signed between the general managers of Shahid Rajaei, Imam Khomeini (RA), Amir Abad, Shahid Beheshti, Anzali ports and Nowshahr was signed with the private sector.
Nazi informed about the plan to modernize the passenger fleet of the ports of this province and stated, based on this memorandum, 50 passenger ships will be added to the passenger fleet of Hormozgan province. Our prediction is that this plan will last about 2 to 2.5 years.
The Deputy of Maritime Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization said, granting facilities for Ro-ro Passenger Boats, General Cargo and Container Vessels in the Caspian Sea is on the agenda of the Ports and Maritime Organization, and in addition, we will deal specifically with the infrastructure and licenses that are required by the owners of the vessels.
