Iran’s non-oil trade with neighboring countries is 52% of the total trade, exports to these countries are 57.5% of the total exports and imports from these countries are 47.5% of the country’s total imports in 1401, which shows the increasing importance of the neighbors in foreign exchange and providing the country’s needs in the conditions of embargo.
Regarding Iran’s export destinations to neighboring countries, Latifi said, Iraq bought 10 billion 238 million dollars (15% growth) and set a historical record, Turkey with 7 billion 459 million dollars (23% growth), UAE with 5 billion 767 million dollars (28% growth), Afghanistan with 1 billion and 634 million dollars (11% decrease) and Pakistan with 1 billion and 488 million dollars (18% growth), were the first five export destinations of Iranian goods among the neighbors and the countries of Oman with one billion and 87 million dollars, Russia with 744 million dollars, Azerbaijan with 654 million dollars, Armenia with 464 million dollars, Turkmenistan with 460 million dollars, Kuwait with 198 million dollars, Kazakhstan with 195 million dollars, Qatar with 124 million dollars, Saudi Arabia with 14.7 million dollars and Bahrain with 10.4 million dollars were ranked next.
